The main northern resort of Puerto de la Cruz is 10 minutes away and provides all the attractions a major resort holds, a great mix of old and new, including historic buildings and areas, an impressive lido, beaches, bars and restaurants and great duty free shopping.

The old and interesting towns/cities of Garrachico, El Sauzul, La Laguna and Santa Cruz are all within 30 minutes.

There are many local tennis courts, spas and pools, and 2 golf clubs within 20 minutes and a course designed by Seve Ballesteros another 20 minutes away.

Loro Parque, famous for its parrots but now the world’s No1 zoo, is 15 minutes away. Its sister attraction Siam Water Park, another world’s No1 is near the south airport.

The area has many excellent restaurants to cater for all tastes and budgets, including some only a short walk away.

Walking and cycling are very popular on the island with many routes offering different levels of challenges.

The south of the island with all it’s attractions including Siam Park the No1 water park in the world, whale watching and boat trips, clubs and nightlife is only around an hour’s drive away.
