Whilst our main aim with Casavina is to to give our guests a great time, we do try to reduce the environmental footprint to as small as practical whilst nor impinging on our visitors. On Booking.com, the only booking site to rate this area we achieve the highest rating.

Amongst our measures are:

The house was constructed to keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter to avoid using air con. Ceiling fans are provided in Bedrooms and others can be provided upon request.

The main house can be heated with a wood burning stove and wood from our finca provided.

The house is largely powered by solar energy.

We provide filtered water on tap saving you having to buy plastic bottles.

All inside lighting is low energy and outside lighting is solar.

The house water is solar heated.

The swimming pool is solar heated or heated by an air pump.

We encourage our guests not to throw away any food or toiletries when they leave. Where possible it is sent to a homeless charity or used by others in need.

We provide recycling bins.
