When Hilary and I started on this journey to restore the house next door I don’t think either of us knew what we’d let ourselves in for. Those who know us from the UK know we tended to throw all we had into giving the best to our customers, we ran a small garden centre and cafe/restaurant. It was fraught dealing with builders etc in a language you are not very good, and dealing with covid just added to the fun but now that the work has been completed we can put our energies into giving our guests a great holiday.

We love meeting our guests and have welcomed them from 23 countries to date.

We are proud of the fact that we have over 65 reviews on AirBnB and all are 5 stars, making us one of their top 1% of properties worldwide. We are also on Plumguide.com which say they only take properties in the top 2%. The only area we don’t score 100% is location because if you want the bright lights, noise and attractions of the south it is a 1hr drive away.

Instead of a list of reviews I suggest you go to AirBnB to look us up. Don’t forget it’s cheaper to book direct and we do have appropriate insurance on Casa Vina.

To have the kitchen... read more preloaded with amenities was a really nice touch. Hilary even baked us a lovely cake! The pool is nice and the hottub is perfect for chilly evenings.

All in all, we highly recommend the place and it offered way more than we could have reasonably asked for.

					  As someone who has stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, I can assuredly say that Hilary and Andrew's place is the best by far. The pair are warm and... read more welcoming hosts who went over and above to ensure the house felt like home, from a personal greeting (complete with a delicious home-baked cake!) through to popping round with adaptor plugs when we had forgotten ours. No request was too big, and they gave us lots of brilliant local recommendations when it came to food, shopping and transportation. 

The home itself is gorgeous, nestled into the scenic hills of North Tenerife. It's spacious and tastefully decorated, with every amenity you could ask for - from hot tub and yoga mats to Sonos speakers and a coffee machine. Andrew's past as a landscape gardener means the garden is an absolute gem, with thoughtful little nooks where you can escape and read, chat, or just relax and soak up the ambience. We visited during an unfortunate spell of poor weather but honestly, it didn't matter with a house like this - we found plenty to entertain ourselves and returned home well-rested and rejuvenated.

I absolutely wouldn't hesitate to recommend Andrew and Hilary's place or, indeed, to book again. In fact, we're already pencilling in our next dates!

La situación es absolutamente maravillosa con vistas espectaculares, lugar que da mucha calma y tranquilidad para descansar y disfrutar con la familia o amigos. Han sido unos días maravillosos y nos hemos sentido como en casa o casi mejor. Si. duda alguna para repetir una y otra vez. Los anfitriones además de su excelente atención, nos han proporcionado todo lo que nos iba surgiendo que nos pudiera hacer falta, incluyendo una cena de bienvenida exquisita, ya que llegamos muy tarde. Andrew es un excelente cocinero además de simpático y amable. Hilary es encantadora además de estar pendiente en todo momento y responder prácticamente en el momento a cualquier necesidad. En resumen, recomiendo absolutamente está casa y repetiré si me posible.
